Oregon Health Sciences University | Portland, OR

Project Summary

Project Team

Oregon Health Science University relocated their Dental School to a new
building on the banks of the Columbia River, in which their teaching systems
would reflect the state of the art environs. OHSU hired Stage Front to design build a complete audio visual system in their pre clinical simulation lab, employing our multimedia teaching systems, InVision Cam, lecture capture, presentation and program system, and a custom control system with an intuitive user interface. To assure the system delivers the expected function in the future, OHSU added our Comprehensive Maintenance Service Program.

East Carolina University | Greenville, NC

In addition to a state of the art pre clinical simulation clinic featuring Stage Front’s proprietary multimedia teaching system and InVision Cam systems, we installed lecture and conference systems. We were also faced with the challenge of extending the education to and from six remote clinics throughout the state and controlling that connection with a centralized communication center. To support our system, East Carolina University engaged Stage Front’s comprehensive managed services plan to assure that all A/V systems function at the highest level.

University of Texas Health Sciences | Houston, TX

Project Team

Stage Front provided advanced systems for this new $155M education building. The latest technologies for teaching and communication are employed in various spaces throughout the building including preclinical labs, lecture halls, distance learning rooms and conference rooms. Design was completed and delivered throughout the course of a full calendar year. In addition to the AV design, provides support to the University of Texas under a three year Complete Maintenance Service Agreement.

University of California | San Francisco, CA

Project Team

The University of California at San Francisco engaged Stage Front in 2002 to add lecture, presentation, lecture capture, and multimedia teaching systems to their pre clinical simulation lab. After a shift to digital technology, UCSF contracted Stage Front in 2016 to update the system and add annotation, InVision cam, multiple source simultaneous viewing, and enhanced control of the entire system from a single, logical user interface. Today, Stage Front provides preventative maintenance and other managed services to ensure systems optimization and maximum ROI.

The University of Buffalo School of Dentistry engaged Stage Front to design a comprehensive, audiovisual system for the Pre-Clinical Simulation Center. In addition to our design development, we also provided needs analysis, schematic development, construction documentation, bid documentation, bid assessment, and construction administration. The resulting design delivers a cutting edge system that will provide a platform to advance the education of the future of dentistry.
